Meeting with
Korea's
Program Deliberation and Mediation Committee
On 24 August 2006 the Cyberspace Law and Policy Centre hosted a meeting with Kyoung-Hwa Lee and Won-Hak Kim from Korea's Program Deliberation and Mediation Committee (PDMC).
The Cyberspace Law and Policy Centre thanks two of the Centre's research associates, Adrian Lawrence, partner at Baker & McKenzie, and Bryan Merurio, Senior Lecturer at UNSW for their preparation and participation in a presentation during the meeting.
Discussion mostly revolved around the Unlocking IP research project and recent developments in digital copyright laws in Australia and Korea and the impact of the US Free Trade Agreement in both of these jurisdictions. The Centre looks forward to future discussion with the PDMC.
